Ricard has chosen Frank The Tank as his entrance music. Frank Ricard will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ricard drives through with a takedown into Daedalus's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Ricard has his foot on Daedalus's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Daedalus works his way back into a safe position though.

Daedalus has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ricard has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Ricard manages to escape to his feet.

Daedalus closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Ricard breaks from the clinch.
Daedalus lands a nice hook to Ricard's body. Ricard takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Ricard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Daedalus thows a left - swing and a miss!

Ricard manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Daedalus on his heels. He'll look to pass Daedalus's guard now, I'm sure.

Ricard has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Daedalus to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ricard is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Daedalus pulls down on the head and he's put Ricard to sleep! This one is all over!
