A fine choice. Peter Jones is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moorhead misses with a takedown
and Jones counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Moorhead feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Moorhead changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jones lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Moorhead!
Moorhead tries to reverse the position but Jones maintains control.

Jones takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Moorhead sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Moorhead sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Moorhead tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control.
Moorhead is not content to let Jones control the position.

Moorhead is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Moorhead wants to control but Jones is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Jones prevents Moorhead from improving his position.

Peter Jones dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Moorhead takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jones swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Moorhead.
Moorhead takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Nice straight punches there by Jones. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jones.
Moorhead shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Jones counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Moorhead is rocked!
Moorhead walks straight into a right hand from Jones - that's dropped him! Jones jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Moorhead from any more punishment! Moorhead complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Peter Jones! Peter Jones retains his bantamweight title!
