Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Nate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pavosen Heska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pavosen Heska will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Nate does it's job there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Heska, as that shot connected.
Heska throws a lazy right hand but Nate sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nate takes a jab right on the kisser.
Nate is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Heska.
Nate misses with a hook.
Nate walks into a stiff left hand from Heska.
Heska throws a hook but Nate blocks it.
Nate swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Heska blocks a jab.
Heska on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Heska keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Heska lands a glancing blow to the side of Nate's head.
Heska dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nate takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Heska lands with a straight right. Nate didn't see that one coming.
Nate takes a jab right on the kisser.
A chopping leg kick lands by Heska.
Heska throws an off balance right hand
and Nate counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nate takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Nate scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Nate misses with a body shot.
Heska scores with a jab. Nate acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Heska slips under a jab from Nate.
Nate will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pavosen Heska is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nate defending well as Heska loads up on a big left hand.
Heska cracks Nate with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
A swing and a miss from Nate.
Nate avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Heska uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nate.
Nate looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nate missing with a left hand there. Heska was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Heska is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Nate had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Nate is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Heska's half guard.
Still in half guard, Nate seems content to control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nate throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Heska is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Nate scores with a couple of nice shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nate prevents Heska from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nice strikes from Nate there.
Nate slips a nice elbow through Heska's hands, connecting with Heska's forehead.

Nate looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Nate has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Heska wants to get back to his feet.
Nate is taking a breather. Heska says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Nate is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Heska is not content to let Nate control the position.
Nate missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Nate keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Nate looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Heska with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Nate is pressing down on Heska's thigh, looking to free his foot. Heska is holding on for now.
Nate frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Heska is squirming around, avoiding Nate's attempts to control the action.

Nate cracks Heska with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Nate in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Nate pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Nate lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Heska hang on?

Heska is rocked!
Nate breaks from Heska's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Heska is still in real trouble! Can Nate finish him?
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Heska is bucking up trying to escape but Nate cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yuri Nate dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Heska is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Nate moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuri Nate!
Yuri Nate spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
