Stresemann comes to the cage accompanied by Takashi Sorimachi - Poison . Thomas Jackson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Onizuka Stresemann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thomas Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stresemann throws out a loose jab but Jackson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jackson with a lazy takedown attempt

and Stresemann counters by moving into the clinch.
Jackson trying to land knees to the body.
Stresemann tries to land knees in the clinch but Jackson avoids the damage to the body.
Stresemann lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Jackson backwards.
Stresemann lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Stresemann lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Jackson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stresemann gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Stresemann lands a shot to the body.
Stresemann cracks Jackson with a nice body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Stresemann is pressed up against the cage. Jackson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Stresemann down to the mat. Stresemann avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Onizuka Stresemann has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Jackson.
Stresemann keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nice shot lands for Stresemann.

Stresemann lands a big uppercut and Jackson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jackson looks OK. Stresemann waves Jackson back to his feet!


Jackson is rocked!


It looks like Thomas Jackson has been cut.

Jackson has closed the distance and engaged Stresemann in a clinch.
Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can Stresemann finish him?
Stresemann lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jackson.
Jackson looks gassed!
A nice glancing elbow lands by Stresemann.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stresemann lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Jackson backwards.
Stresemann comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Stresemann scores with a shot to the side of Jackson's head.
Jackson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stresemann walks away with a smile on his face. Jackson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jackson misses with a takedown
and Stresemann counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Onizuka Stresemann!
Onizuka Stresemann spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
