Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Killian Gallagher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edmund Queensberry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gallagher comes into the arena with Kakkahätä 77 - Tää on sun helvetti blaring out of the sound system. Killian Gallagher is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Killian Gallagher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Edmund Queensberry!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Queensberry lands a right hook to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Queensberry. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Queensberry.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gallagher checks a leg kick.
Queensberry misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gallagher.

and Gallagher counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


It looks like Edmund Queensberry has been cut.
Gallagher checks a low kick from Queensberry.
Queensberry swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Oooh a lovely combination from Gallagher sends Queensberry down but not out. Gallagher dives into side control looking to finish.


Queensberry is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Gallagher wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Queensberry, who protects the arm well.
Queensberry is still in real trouble! Can Gallagher finish him?
Queensberry tries to bench press Gallagher off him but Gallagher keeps the position.
Queensberry trying to remain calm as Gallagher controls from the top position.
Queensberry seems to have recovered his senses.
Queensberry tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gallagher wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Queensberry is trying to escape the position but Gallagher is controlling the position.

Gallagher tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gallagher has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Queensberry is trying to control Gallagher's posture but Gallagher avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gallagher passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Queensberry!
Poor strikes thrown by Gallagher there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

That has opened up Edmund Queensberry's cut even more.
Gallagher wants to take Queensberry's back here but Queensberry is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Queensberry wants to control but Gallagher is having none of it.
Gallagher misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Gallagher has hold of Queensberry's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Queensberry manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gallagher has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Queensberry tries to hold on but Gallagher postures up.
Queensberry can't escape the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Queensberry gets back to half guard.
Gallagher trying to control from half guard but Queensberry is working away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gallagher frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Gallagher throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Queensberry is looking to improve his position but Gallagher isn't that keen on the idea.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Gallagher jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Queensberry manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Queensberry tries to improve position but can't.
Gallagher takes a little break here. Queensberry wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Queensberry struggling a bit here.
Queensberry parries the strikes from Gallagher easily there. Gallagher is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Queensberry to escape.

Gallagher working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Queensberry is not content to let Gallagher control the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Gallagher tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Queensberry manages to work his way to half guard, despite Gallagher's best efforts.
Queensberry is trying to get back to full guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Gallagher is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Queensberry doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gallagher.
Gallagher prevents Queensberry from improving his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Killian Gallagher dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Edmund Queensberry's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Gallagher throws a series of punches but Queensberry moves out of range.
Queensberry throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Queensberry tries to close the distance and clinch but Gallagher swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gallagher avoids the body shot from Queensberry.

Gallagher lands a left and a right that sends Queensberry crashing to the canvas! Gallagher dives into mount looking to finish!


The cut above Edmund Queensberry's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Edmund Queensberry's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Killian Gallagher!
