Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Davies scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Davies fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Blood looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Davies scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Blood takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Blood fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Davies avoids it really well and circles away.

Blood tries to pull guard but Davies holds him up against the cage and eventually Blood drops back down to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Davies will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Blood chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Davies can pounce on him.

Blood misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Davies lands a two punch combo.
Blood changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davies tries to avoid it but Blood manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davies to the ground. Davies escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Blood shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Davies but Davies pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Davies wants to stand but Blood has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Blood has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Davies doesn't defend quickly enough and Blood has managed to lock this one up! Can Davies escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Blood on a fantastic submission victory.
