Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Volkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Lunar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Volkov comes to the cage accompanied by The Trooper by Iron Maiden. Lunar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Seperate Ways by Journey. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Volkov counters with a good low kick that Lunar was not able to check.
Lucas Lunar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lunar has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Volkov has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Lunar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Volkov closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Volkov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lunar with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
