And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robson Mendes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendes shoots in and drives through. Lei sprawls well.
Lei lands with a nice combination. Mendes backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Robson Mendes has been cut.
Lei throws a nice looking combination but Mendes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mendes shoots in looking for a takedown but Lei manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mendes's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Lei misses with an attempted mid kick.

Lei pushes Mendes up against the cage in a clinch.

Lei pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Lei tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Mendes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mendes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Frito Lei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robson Mendes.
