Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between The Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guy's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Old Spice Guy Intro. David has chosen Bring The Pain as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy throws a quick inside leg kick.
Guy throws a low kick but David moves out of range easily.

A decent looking cross lands there for Guy.
The Guy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Guy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Guy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

David closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Xavier David has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
A clash of legs there as David blocks the low kick.
Guy slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

David closes the distance and clinches up with Guy, looking for a takedown. David pushes Guy against the cage but Guy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

David walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

David attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
David changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Guy tries to avoid it but David manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Guy to the ground. Guy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

David closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Guy did well to prevent David getting side control.
David is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
