Pox comes to the cage accompanied by Same Song - Digital Underground. The crowd seem to be enjoying Doherty's choice of entrance music: You can't stand me now. The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doherty throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Doherty scores with a jab to the jaw.
Doherty throws a leg kick that is checked
and Pox counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Doherty throws a nice looking combination but Pox bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Doherty shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pox but Pox pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Pox lands a head kick. Doherty smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
An inside leg kick from Pox misses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Doherty.

and Doherty counters with a good low kick that Pox was not able to check.

Doherty takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Doherty throws out a leg kick but Pox moves out of range and Doherty only half commits.
Doherty tries to work over Pox's front leg with a kick but Pox checks it.
Pox misses with an uppercut.
Doherty on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Pox misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Doherty.

and Doherty counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Big Pox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Doherty ducks right into an uppercut from Pox.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Whack! Pox lands a heavy head kick that drops Doherty. The ref tackles Pox to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Doherty was done.
