Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gim Ruut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rui Salsep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruut comes to the cage accompanied by Jesus Christ Pose - Soundgarden. The key to victory for Gim Ruut has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ruut drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Salsep manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ruut has Salsep in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ruut working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Salsep doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Salsep manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ruut had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Salsep defends it easily.

Ruut has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Salsep doesn't defend quickly enough and Ruut has managed to lock this one up! Can Salsep escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ruut on a fantastic submission victory.
