Nelson comes to the cage accompanied by My Time. Llaripukinen has chosen Elvis Presley - True Love Travels On A Gravel Road as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Llaripukinen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nelson throws out the jab.
Llaripukinen tries to bum rush Nelson with a series of wild strikes but Nelson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nelson shoots in for a double leg but Llaripukinen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
No joy there for Llaripukinen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
The fighters circling - Llaripukinen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Llaripukinen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nelson, as that shot connected.

Llaripukinen darts in and clinches Nelson up against the cage.
Nelson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Llaripukinen gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Nelson jumps guard but Llaripukinen stands there with Nelson around his waist. Nelson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nelson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Nelson shoots in and drives through. Llaripukinen sprawls well.

Nelson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Llaripukinen lands a really nice looking cross but Nelson seems unphased.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Llaripukinen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Nelson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Llaripukinen smiles and moves away.

Llaripukinen lands a left and a right that send Nelson crashing to the mat, dazed. Llaripukinen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Nelson is rocked!

It looks like Roy Nelson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nelson leaves his chin hanging out and Llaripukinen seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Nelson crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
