The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linne blocks a leg kick.

Linne fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Else has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Linne wants to land a leg kick but Else is out of range.
Else takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Linne misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Linne does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Linne keeps Else at a distance using the push kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Linne makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Linne walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Else checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Linne pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Nice sprawl there from Linne as Else shoots in.

Else shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Linne as he avoids it easily.
Sebastien Linne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Something Else.
Linne ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Else moves away.
Else tries to close the distance and clinch but Linne swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Else finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Else fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Linne.
Some bone on bone action there as Else checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Something Else seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Else throws a head kick but Linne moves out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Sebastien Linne will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Linne throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Linne lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Sloppy strikes from Else. Those never looked like landing.
Linne feints and then cracks Else's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Else down.
Linne throws a chopping leg kick but Else manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Linne uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Else has time to react.

Linne thuds his shin into the meat of Else's side.
Else is breathing heavily.
Linne misses with an attempted mid kick.
Linne shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Else sprawls well. Else wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Linne gets slowly back to his feet.

Else feints and then cracks Linne's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Linne down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
