Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Brookins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hulk Hogan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Damian Brookins!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hogan feints and as Brookins raises his hands in defense, Hogan changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Brookins can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hogan throwing strikes but missing.
Brookins looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Brookins has momentary wrist control but Hogan slips an elbow through the middle.
Hogan is working Brookins over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hogan wants to control from the top but Brookins keeps moving.
Brookins is trying to keep Hogan in close.
Hogan throws an elbow that misses. Brookins uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hogan's guard. Nice move by Brookins!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brookins wants to pass the guard but Hogan is keeping the position.
Hogan is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Brookins postures up in Hogan's guard and throws a big left but Hogan blocks it.
Hogan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Hogan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Brookins has managed to free his arm - good work.
Brookins is trying to get back to full guard.
Hogan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Hogan is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hogan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Brookins keeps working.
Brookins wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Brookins is trying to control but can't.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hogan lands a nice short elbow.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hogan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brookins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Brookins gets full guard.
Hogan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Hogan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Brookins is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Brookins is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hogan working the ground and pound effectively.
Hogan landing strikes from the mount.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hogan connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Hogan looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.


Brookins is rocked!
Brookins looks gassed!
Hogan lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Brookins is still in real trouble! Can Hogan finish him?
Hogan controlling from the full mount.
Brookins seems to have recovered his senses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hogan postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Brookins in real trouble here! The ref calls for Brookins to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hulk Hogan!
A very excited looking Hulk Hogan made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
