The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bolten tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Callaghan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Callaghan.
Bolten throws a head kick that Callaghan semi-blocks.
Callaghan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bolten doesn't seem bothered though.

Callaghan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Bolten has time to react.

Callaghan fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Bolten wants to clinch.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bolten crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Callaghan - the referee stops the clock and Bolten gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Callaghan. Bolten manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Bolten is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Bolten rushes Callaghan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bolten tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Bolten blocks the elbow strike.
Callaghan scores with a nice hook to the head.

Callaghan has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Bolten - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Callaghan, and another! Bolten is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Richard Callaghan!
After winning the bout, Richard Callaghan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
