Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hairy Nipple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Atsushi Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Smoke Serpent - Jiu Jitsu. Atsushi Gracie has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Hairy Nipple's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gracie remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Nipple on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Gracie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nipple manages to avoid it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Nipple enables Gracie to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nipple manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Gracie not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Nipple is stalling here. Gracie is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Nipple seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Gracie has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well Gracie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Atsushi Gracie is the new heavyweight champion!
Atsushi Gracie decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
