Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chong comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I SHOT THE SHERIFF kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryu Hayabusa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Chong!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayabusa misses with a straight left.
Hayabusa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hayabusa scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Bob Chong has been cut.
Chong uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hayabusa.
Hayabusa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Chong shoots for a takedown but Hayabusa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hayabusa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chong.
Chong throws a one two combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hayabusa tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Chong counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hayabusa won't be happy with that.
Hayabusa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hayabusa tries to get out of the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Check out the look on Chong's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Hayabusa is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Chong asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Chong looks up at the clock and then as Hayabusa takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Chong smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The referee asks Chong politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Chong prefers to stall for the moment though.

Hayabusa wants to get back to his feet.
Hayabusa takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Chong scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Hayabusa is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Chong can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
