Bravo comes into the arena with Magic blaring out of the sound system. Perry is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Shadow of the Day. Eddie Bravo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Edson Perry's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bravo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Perry to the ground. Bravo is now in Perry's guard.

A right-left combo lands from Perry.
Perry cracks Bravo with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Bravo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bravo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bravo tries to close the distance and clinch but Perry swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Nice takedown defense from Perry. No joy for Bravo on that attempt.
Bravo looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Bravo darts in and clinches Perry up against the cage.

Edson Perry seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bravo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perry swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Perry cracks Bravo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Bravo moves away from the strike by Perry.

Oh Bravo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bravo leaves his chin hanging out and Perry seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Bravo crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
