Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Austin McCoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Markus Sizemore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCoy comes to the cage accompanied by Voices. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Austin McCoy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Markus Sizemore!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy slips a straight right by Sizemore.
McCoy fails with a takedown attempt.
Sizemore looks to land a body kick but McCoy moved away.

and Sizemore counters with a nice double leg into side control. McCoy won't be happy with that.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
McCoy tries to improve position but can't.
Sizemore lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sizemore tries for a kimura but McCoy is defending well.

Sizemore happy to just control the position for now.

Sizemore decides to stand up, so the ref orders McCoy to his feet.
A nice combination there by McCoy.
Sizemore blocks a head kick by McCoy.

Sizemore shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McCoy napping and manages to drive through into side control!
McCoy is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sizemore off and has taken his back!

Sizemore manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McCoy misses with a takedown

and Sizemore counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Austin McCoy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
McCoy is breathing heavily.
Sizemore is looking to advance position but McCoy won't allow it.

Sizemore is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, McCoy has managed to free his arm - good work.
McCoy looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sizemore seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sizemore lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Sizemore closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Sizemore goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, McCoy rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Sizemore's guard! Nice work there by McCoy!
Markus Sizemore has got the better of the ground game so far.

McCoy postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sizemore is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of McCoy, into his guard.
McCoy thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Sizemore is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but McCoy has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sizemore is looking to defend but McCoy has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sizemore! McCoy pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sizemore taps out and this one is all over!
