Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Freddy Stinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nobu Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Freddy Stinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nobu Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stinger fails with a takedown attempt.
Murphy looks to land a body kick but Stinger moved away.
Stinger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Murphy tries to avoid it but Stinger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Murphy to the ground. Murphy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stinger gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Murphy counters with a head kick. That will keep Stinger thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freddy Stinger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stinger tries to close the distance and clinch up but Murphy swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Stinger drops down looking for an ankle pick but Murphy pulls his leg out and moves away.

Murphy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Stinger, pushing him back against the cage.
Murphy looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Stinger tries to clinch up but Murphy circles away and keeps his distance.

Stinger is trying hard to land a takedown here. Murphy sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Stinger tries to score a power double leg takedown but Murphy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stinger somewhat.

Stinger goes for a takedown in the clinch but Murphy prevents it.
Stinger jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Murphy walks away with a smile on his face. Stinger gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Stinger. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Murphy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Murphy gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Stinger.
Stinger really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Stinger needs to keep his hands up - Murphy had a free shot at his head there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Stinger rushes Murphy and presses him up against the cage.
Murphy is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Stinger is defending well for now.
Murphy tries to land knees in the clinch but Stinger avoids the damage to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Murphy counters with a crisp one two that drops Stinger! Murphy thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Stinger to his feet! Stinger is in big trouble!
Oh Stinger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Murphy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Murphy lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Stinger crumples to the floor! Murphy milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
