The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor fails in his attempt to clinch.

Taylor had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Equinox is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Taylor Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Equinox's back instead.

Equinox wants to control his opponent's hands but Taylor gets his hands free.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Taylor trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.

Taylor is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Equinox has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Taylor has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Equinox taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Taylor doesn't care though - he's delighted!
