The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brigante throws a low kick, looking for Mask's leg but Mask calmly moves out of range.
Mask comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Brigante throws a sloppy head kick and Mask moves out of range easily.
Brigante ducks under a wild hook from Mask.
Brigante avoids the head kick by Mask.
Horrible takedown by Mask or perhaps it was just good defense by Brigante which made him look bad.

Mask scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Mask is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brigante shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mask as he jumps to the side.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mask checks a leg kick.

Brigante throws a head kick but Mask moves out of range.
Mask misses with a jab, cross combination.
Brigante takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mask. Brigante does a little dance to reset his feet.
Brigante sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A shot to the liver by Mask. Beautiful body shot.
Brigante misses with an attempted mid kick.
Mask attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Mask thows a body shot but no joy.

and Mask counters with a nice uppercut.
Mask bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brigante's head backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mask throws a push kick but Brigante slaps the foot to one side.
Brigante lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mask circles away quickly and effectively.
Brigante walks into a left hand.

Mask tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Brigante lands with an uppercut that bounces Mask off the cage and back into range.
Nice uppercut lands for Mask. That snapped Brigante's head back.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mask.

Brigante uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mask.
Mask with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Brigante to score with a decent uppercut.
Mask closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Brigante cracks Mask with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mask crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Brigante - the referee stops the clock and Mask gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Brigante. Mask manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Brigante is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brigante crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mask - the referee stops the clock and Brigante gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mask. Brigante manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mask wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Brigante displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mask.
