Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Olav Klint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronny Bruvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Klint's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Pixies - Tame . Bruvik has chosen Rånny Bruvik as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Olav Klint!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronny Bruvik!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bruvik throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Klint fails with the takedown.
Klint tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bruvik manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Klint decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bruvik is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Bruvik is staying active underneath Klint, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Olav Klint wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Bruvik motions for Klint to come forward. Bruvik throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bruvik slaps away a takedown attempt from Klint, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Klint throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bruvik was covering up waiting for the punch and Klint finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Bruvik tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Bruvik wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Klint tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Ronny Bruvik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Klint shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bruvik defends it nicely.

Klint fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bruvik to the ground. Klint is now in Bruvik's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Klint postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Klint has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bruvik is working away from the top position though.

A close round but Ronny Bruvik will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A nice leg kick lands there from Bruvik.
Klint tries to close the distance and clinch but Bruvik swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bruvik just misses with a punch to the body.
Klint shoots in for a takedown but Bruvik shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Bruvik closes the distance and clinches.
Bruvik tries to throw a body punch but Klint avoids it by throwing Bruvik back against the cage.
Bruvik can't find room to land a body shot as Klint controls the action.
Bruvik lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Klint or not.

Klint is trying to drag Bruvik to the mat but Bruvik just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Klint is trying to pull guard but Bruvik turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bruvik throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Klint uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bruvik.
Bruvik tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Klint was well out of range. Poor timing from Bruvik.

Ronny Bruvik showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bruvik has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

A very excited looking Ronny Bruvik rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
