The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Holmes shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Evans sprawls well. Evans wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Holmes gets slowly back to his feet.

and Evans counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
