The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lavronenko throws a low kick but Hickok moves out of range easily.
Hickok swings for the body but Lavronenko moves out of range.
Hickok tries to land a leg kick but Lavronenko saw it coming and moves away.
Hickok takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hickok goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Ivan Lavronenko has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hickok throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Lavronenko moves out of range of the strikes.
A head kick misses from Hickok.
Hickok wants to clinch.
Hickok fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lavronenko.
Lavronenko throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hickok.

Lavronenko decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
