The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime misses with a body kick.
Prime scores with a kick to the body.
Bernard is looking to land body kicks.

Bernard swings widly with a right hand
and Prime counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bernard 's knee momentarily.
Bernard looks gassed!

It looks like Diokles Bernard has been cut.
Bernard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bernard uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Prime.

Optimus Prime seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A low kick from Prime is predictable there
and Bernard counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Prime rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bernard moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Prime throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Prime lands with a good body shot.
Bernard swings widly with a right hand
enabling Prime to counter with a crisp jab.
Prime lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
That has opened up Diokles Bernard 's cut even more.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Prime feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bernard sprawling to the canvas! Bernard rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Prime finish him?!
Bernard is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Prime fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Bernard out cold! Brutal finish!

Optimus Prime retains his heavyweight title!
