Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Gautier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ireneo Requina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ireneo Requina told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gautier misses with a straight right.
An inside leg kick lands from Gautier.
Requina moves out of range as Gautier throws a body kick.
A clash of legs there as Requina blocks the low kick.
Gautier keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Gautier looks for the body kick but Requina saw that one coming.
Gautier is looking to score with low kicks.

Requina clinches.
Requina has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Gautier avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Requina swings wildly with an uppercut but Gautier uses good head movement to avoid it.

Requina stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gautier swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Gautier moves out of range of the strikes.

Gautier throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Gautier is looking to clinch but Requina is avoiding it.

Gautier ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Requina moves away.

Gautier takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Gautier goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Requina misses with a few strikes there.
Requina dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

A head kick misses from Gautier.
Gautier is looking to wear down Requina with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Gautier fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Requina.
Gautier looks to land a body kick but Requina moved away.

Gautier lands a brutal head kick. Requina looks out on his feet and Gautier throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
