Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randy Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shamar Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Freak on a Leash. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shamar Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anderson wants it to stay on the feet.
Anderson swings for the body but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Anderson is fending him off so far but Jackson persists. Nope, Anderson circles away and we're back to standing.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Jackson is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Anderson has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Anderson!

Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Anderson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Shamar Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jackson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Anderson swivels and escapes.

Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
