Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gnome Chomsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emmanuel Zsorats (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chomsky's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, System Of A Down - Sugar. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zsorats tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Chomsky is able to avoid easily.
Zsorats looks to score with a jab to the body but Chomsky is just out of range.

Chomsky seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Zsorats for as long as he can get away with.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gnome Chomsky.
Chomsky dives in and grabs Zsorats's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zsorats pushes down on Chomsky's head and hops out.

Chomsky shoots in looking for a takedown but Zsorats manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chomsky's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Zsorats fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chomsky manages to avoid it.

A looping hook to the body misses from Zsorats. Chomsky does a little dance to reset his feet.

Zsorats closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Chomsky did well to prevent Zsorats getting side control.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Gnome Chomsky will probably get the nod.

Zsorats drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Zsorats lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Gnome Chomsky overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Zsorats looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Chomsky is trying to maintain the position but Zsorats is very close to passing his half guard.
Zsorats wants to control but Chomsky is keeping him busy.
Zsorats stalling away here and it's allowed Chomsky to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Zsorats content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Chomsky has locked up a guillotine! Chomsky's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Zsorats is holding on here and Chomsky must be using up a lot of energy. Zsorats has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Chomsky gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Gnome Chomsky decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
