The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gable throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gable throws a lazy right hand but Stoltzfuses Jr sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gable fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gable misses with a double jab.
Dan Gable seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stoltzfuses Jr plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Dan Gable has been cut.
Gable will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Gable is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Stoltzfuses Jr bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gable's guard.

Stoltzfuses Jr postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stoltzfuses Jr's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

That was a close round but I would say that Elijah Stoltzfuses Jr will probably get the nod.
