The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goto keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Goto throws a jab but it's blocked by Quintana.
Goto lands with a right hand.
Quintana ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Goto moves away.
Quintana lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Goto at a distance.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Goto.
A lazy left from Quintana finds it's target.
Goto scores with a decent looking hook.
Goto throws the left hand but Quintana avoids the punch easily.
Goto fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Quintana has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Goto uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Quintana.
Quintana takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Goto lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A jab from Goto finds it's way through Quintana's defenses.
Yoshiteru Goto is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Goto displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Quintana throws out the jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Goto looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Goto throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Quintana blocks it with crossed arms.

Quintana tries to pull guard but Goto holds him up against the cage and eventually Quintana drops back down to his feet.

Quintana jumps into guard, dragging Goto to the mat.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Quintana has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Goto is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Quintana.

Quintana tries to bench press Goto off him but Goto keeps the position.

Goto throws a low kick but it's checked well by Quintana.
Yoshiteru Goto seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Goto lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Goto fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Quintana.
Goto takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Quintana is looking to wear down Goto with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Goto lands with a thumping leg kick.

Goto throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Quintana uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Goto.
Quintana keeps the fight on the outside.
Goto goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Goto is on top in guard.
Goto not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Quintana looking for a sweep. Not yet Quintana, not yet.
Quintana trying to keep a closed guard but Goto is proving a slippery customer.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Yoshiteru Goto showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Quintana is in all sorts of trouble here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jesus Quintana.
I think Goto has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
