The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanikawa throws a hook but Skaft avoids it easily.
Skaft misses with a wild body shot.
Skaft throws a body punch but Tanikawa moves out of range.
Tanikawa takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Tanikawa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Skaft napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Tanikawa is staying tight to Skaft's torso, preventing him from escaping.
