The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kochanowski throws a jab but it's blocked by Sept Heures.
Kochanowski throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kochanowski throws a push kick but Sept Heures slaps the foot to one side.
Sept Heures instigates a clinch.
Sept Heures can't find room to land a body shot as Kochanowski controls the action.
Kochanowski throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sept Heures blocks it with crossed arms.
Kochanowski looking to stall.
Kochanowski misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sept Heures.
Nice body punch from Sept Heures - that landed with a thud.
Kochanowski trying to control the position but instead, Sept Heures has worked for underhooks and has pushed Kochanowski into the ropes.
Sept Heures lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Janek Kochanowski has been cut.
Sept Heures breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kochanowski misses with a hook. Sept Heures ducked under it nicely.
Kochanowski throws a lazy uppercut
and Sept Heures counters with a thumping low kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sept Heures checks a leg kick.
Kochanowski ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sept Heures moves away.
Sept Heures instigates a clinch.
Sept Heures tries to pull guard but Kochanowski won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sept Heures is stalling here.
Sept Heures pulls guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kochanowski trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Kochanowski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sept Heures has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kochanowski has managed to get both his arms back between Sept Heures's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Kochanowski avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kochanowski is working Sept Heures over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Sept Heures preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Sept Heures is looking to sinch up a triangle. Kochanowski throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Sept Heures's body to avoid the submission. Sept Heures has instead reached around Kochanowski's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sept Heures arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
