Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aima Hei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Clarke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hei comes to the cage accompanied by Immortal Technique - The Rebel. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aima Hei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leo Clarke!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Clarke misses
enabling Hei to counter with a crisp jab.
Clarke walks into a left hand.
Hei lands a leg kick that knocks Clarke off balance momentarily.
Clarke throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Hei counters with a slapping leg kick.
Hei misses with a right hand
and Clarke counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Clarke closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Clarke taking a breather.
Clarke takes a shot to the head.
Clarke lands with a left to the head.
Hei tries to work over Clarke's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Clarke tries a knee to the head but Hei blocks it.
Clarke can't find room to land a body shot as Hei controls the action.
Hei slows down the pace here.
Clarke takes a knee right on the jaw!

Hei lands a nice uppercut.
Clarke is trying to maintain a safe position but Hei gets an underhook and turns Clarke into the cage.
Hei swings wildly with an uppercut but Clarke uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hei slows down the pace here.

Hei pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Clarke fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hei manages to avoid it.

Clarke throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Nice uppercut there from Clarke.
Hei throws a right hand that Clarke ducks under and follows up with a left that Clarke also avoids with ease.
Hei slips a straight right by Clarke.

Hei shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hei sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Clarke is trying to get back to full guard.
Hei working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hei tries to pass to full mount but Clarke defends it.
Clarke is looking to control Hei's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Clarke avoid being mounted?
Hei trying to mount his opponent but Clarke defends it.

Hei throwing shots but Clarke is blocking nicely.
Hei keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Hei seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Clarke does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Hei will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Clarke tries to get to full guard but Hei has control of the leg.
Clarke trying to hold on to Hei's head to control him but Hei postures up.
Hei not landing any meaningful shots this time.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hei fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Clarke checks it well.
Clarke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Clarke throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hei lands a right hook to the body.
Hei shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hei takes a body punch but keeps moving.
A punch lands to the side of Hei 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hei lands a lovely overhand right.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Clarke takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Clarke throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Clarke on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Hei tries to land a front kick but Clarke steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hei blocks a jab.
Clarke swings for the body but Hei moves out of range.
Clarke avoids the body shot from Hei.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Clarke pushes Hei up against the cage in a clinch.

Clarke tries a body shot but Hei blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aima Hei dominated that round.

Hei tries to sprawl but Clarke drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Hei trying to control here.
Clarke tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Hei.
The fighters are battling for position here. Hei manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Clarke trying to control the position from guard on top but Hei is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Clarke working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clarke won't allow Hei to sweep him here.
Hei keeping moving, preventing Clarke from controlling successfully.
Clarke is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Clarke trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Leo Clarke wasn't active enough on the ground.
Hei thows a body shot but no joy.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hei crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Clarke - the referee stops the clock and Hei gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Clarke. Hei manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Clarke tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Clarke jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Clarke throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Clarke misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Clarke misses with a series of wild punches.
Clarke changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
A left lands for Clarke.
Hei scores with a jab to the jaw.

Hei stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Clarke throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Clarke defending well as Hei loads up on a big left hand.
Hei missing with a left hand there. Clarke was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Clarke fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hei manages to avoid it.

and Hei counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hei lands with a nice body punch.
Hei takes a swing at Clarke's ribcage but misses.
Hei checks a leg kick.
Hei fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hei slips under a jab from Clarke.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hei checks a leg kick.
Hei throws a jab but it's blocked by Clarke.
Hei looks for the body kick but Clarke saw that one coming.
Clarke thuds his right hand into Hei's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

A telegraphed right hand from Clarke misses the target.
Clarke takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Hei throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hei looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hei scores with a sloppy right hand. Clarke should have avoided that one.
Hei throws a lazy right hand but Clarke sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Clarke takes one on the button.
Hei ducks under a wild hook from Clarke.
Hei moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Hei connects with a right hand. Clarke shakes it off.
Hei ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hei comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Clarke is breathing heavily.
Hei misses with a low kick as Clarke jumps back.
Hei lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hei lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.


It looks like Leo Clarke has been cut.

Clarke fails in his attempt to clinch.
Clarke swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Clarke stuns Hei with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hei connects with a leg kick. Clarke looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Clarke changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hei tries to avoid it but Clarke manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hei to the ground. Hei escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Clarke throws a looping overhand right but Hei ducks down to avoid it.
Hei takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hei scores with a body shot.
Aima Hei is winning the standup battle so far.

Hei throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Clarke was covering up waiting for the punch and Hei finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hei throws an elbow that misses. Clarke uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hei's guard. Nice move by Clarke!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The cut man is working on Leo Clarke's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Clarke will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Leo Clarke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hei scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Clarke doesn't seem bothered though.

Clarke has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Clarke there as he acknowledges the shot.

Hei is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Clarke moves in looking to clinch but Hei pushes him off.
Clarke takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Hei lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Clarke thows a body shot but no joy.
Hei fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Hei connects with the punch.
Hei is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Hei looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hei jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Clarke ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hei moves away.
Hei misses the shot to the body.

Hei fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Clarke to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Clarke looks to clinch but Hei throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Clarke taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Aima Hei!
Aima Hei decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
