Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Snuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bowser Stormcrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snuka comes into the arena with Superfly by Curtis Mayfield blaring out of the sound system. Bowser Stormcrow has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jimmy Snuka's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jimmy Snuka!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bowser Stormcrow!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stormcrow with a nice cross.
Stormcrow connects with a looping right hand.
Stormcrow jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Stormcrow throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Snuka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Stormcrow connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Snuka's hands.
Snuka dives in and grabs Stormcrow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Stormcrow pushes down on Snuka's head and hops out.
Stormcrow with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Stormcrow scores with a punch to the head.
Stormcrow swings and misses with a hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Snuka darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Stormcrow is trying to stand up here but Snuka is controlling him well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snuka missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snuka blocks the strikes from Stormcrow.
Stormcrow is trying to stand back up but Snuka is controlling him
Stormcrow is trying to maintain the position but Snuka is very close to passing his half guard.
Snuka passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Stormcrow!
Stormcrow is trying desperately to improve position.

Stormcrow somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
The crowd cheers as Stormcrow lands an impressive looking overhand right. Snuka doesn't seem phased though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Snuka works the jab nicely.
Nice defenses there by Stormcrow.
Stormcrow stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Snuka swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stormcrow jabs at Snuka's body.
Stormcrow cracks Snuka with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Stormcrow connects with a right hand. Snuka shakes it off.

Snuka is rocked!
Stormcrow slips under a jab from Snuka.
Oh Snuka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A jab from Stormcrow misses.
Stormcrow is pawing at Snuka, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Snuka's nose. Snuka is badly hurt! Stormcrow pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Snuka tries desperately to hold on but Stormcrow is relentless in his assault! As Snuka receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Stormcrow away and this one is in the books!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bowser Stormcrow!
Bowser Stormcrow is the new welterweight champion!
In his post fight interview, Bowser Stormcrow started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
