Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mark Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walter comes to the cage accompanied by Black Sabbath - War Pigs . Clark is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by All Fired Up. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Walter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Clark!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Clark throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Walter shoots in but Clark avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Clark with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Walter with a lazy takedown attempt
and Clark counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Clark moves into the clinch.
Walter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Clark has him pressed against the cage.
Walter is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Walter goes for a takedown attempt but Clark pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Walter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Clark avoids the head kick by Walter.
Walter has his takedown stuffed
and Clark makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Walter is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Clark drives through and clinches with Walter against the cage.
Walter tries to pull guard but Clark holds him up against the cage and eventually Walter drops back down to his feet.
Clark lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Mark Walter has been cut.
Walter wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Walter wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Walter's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Clark stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Walter wants to break the clinch but can't.
Walter is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Clark lands a knee to the body.
Clark putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Walter in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

The referee calls for Clark to work.

Clark pushes Walter back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Clark stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Clark presses Walter against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
A nice right hand lands inside from Clark.
Clark comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Walter is rocked!

Mark Walter's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Walter gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Oh Walter is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Clark desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Walter seems to have got his legs back now.
Clark tries to get to full guard but Walter has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Walter looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Walter is working for a submission of some sort.
Clark tries to kick Walter off but Walter keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Walter seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Clark is staying active underneath Walter, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Clark is doing well to control the position and prevent Walter from advancing to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Walter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Clark as he jumps to the side.
Walter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Clark sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Walter somewhat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eddie Clark dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Clark looks to score with a jab to the body but Walter is just out of range.
Walter avoids the body shot from Clark.
A big right from Clark misses.
Clark scoring well with a low kick there.
Walter fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Clark counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Clark throws a quick inside leg kick.
Walter looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Clark fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Walter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Walter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Clark.
Walter on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Clark. Clark obviously looking to wear him down.
A chopping leg kick lands by Clark.
Mark Walter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Clark lands a leg kick that knocks Walter off balance momentarily.
Clark misses with a wild body shot.
Clark throws a quick inside leg kick.
Clark lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Clark.
Clark delivers a nice body kick.
Clark connects with an inside leg kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Clark lands a big head kick that sends Walter tumbling to the mat! Clark takes a step backwards and waves Walter back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Clark has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Walter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Clark scores with a counter punch that sends Walter to the canvas! Clark smells blood - he's punishing Walter with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Walter has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
