The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potocki lands a front kick.
Potocki cracks Rathode with a good jab.
Rathode dives in and grabs Potocki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Potocki pushes down on Rathode's head and hops out.
Rathode tries to score a power double leg takedown but Potocki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rathode somewhat.
Potocki tries to land a front kick but Rathode steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Potocki looks to score with a jab to the body but Rathode is just out of range.
Rathode fails to land with a series of punches.
Potocki missing with a left hand there. Rathode was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Rathode walks forward, straight into a front kick from Potocki.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Potocki moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Potocki connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Potocki's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rathode under the eye.
Rathode looks gassed!
Potocki fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rathode.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Potocki tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Potocki changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Potocki comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rathode on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Potocki thuds a left hand into Rathode's body.

Potocki lands a big head kick that sends Rathode tumbling to the mat! Potocki takes a step backwards and waves Rathode back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Rathode is rocked!

It looks like Rowdy Rathode has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Potocki looks to throw the jab but Rathode is out of range.
Rathode is still on wobbly legs! Can Potocki finish him?
Potocki finds Rathode's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Rathode flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Potocki lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Rathode will be OK.
