The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iglesias fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Hughs misses with a two punch combination.
Iglesias with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Iglesias thumps Hughs with a low kick.
Hughs tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hughs tries to close the distance and clinch up but Iglesias swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Iglesias lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Iglesias fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hughs tries to clinch up but Iglesias circles away and keeps his distance.
Iglesias walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hughs checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
A left lands for Iglesias.

Iglesias fails to land with a series of punches.
Hughs fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hughs lands a front kick.

Iglesias misses with a double jab
and Hughs counters with a low kick, right behind Iglesias 's knee.
Iglesias thows a body kick. Hughs tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Donk. Hughs catches Iglesias right on the button with a cross.

Hughs closes the distance and clinches.
Hughs is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Iglesias is defending well for now.
Iglesias tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hughs's elbow.
A frustrated look appears on Iglesias's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Hughs tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Iglesias avoids it.
Iglesias managing to block the knees to the body from Hughs.
Hughs lands a shot to the body.
Hughs creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Hughs pushes off an throws an elbow but Iglesias leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Iglesias misses with a body punch.
Iglesias is trying to break the clinch but Hughs is controlling him.
Hughs works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Hughs scores with a nice hook to the head.
Hughs lands a nice knee to the body.

Hughs throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Iglesias blocks it with crossed arms.
Iglesias swings wildly with an uppercut but Hughs uses good head movement to avoid it.
Iglesias stalls.
Hughs tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Hughs lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Iglesias.

Iglesias breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hughs throws a nice outside leg kick.

Hughs lands a big head kick that sends Iglesias tumbling to the mat! Hughs takes a step backwards and waves Iglesias back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Iglesias is rocked!

It looks like Alexandre Iglesias has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hughs cracks Iglesias's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Iglesias slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Hughs can do further damage! This one is done, son!
