Emelianenko comes to the cage accompanied by You are the best around. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yellow walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Emelianenko shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Emelianenko throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Yellow throws a sloppy head kick
and Emelianenko counters with a right hand to the body.
Yellow closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Emelianenko shoots in and bounces Yellow off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Yellow is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Tom Yellow has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Emelianenko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Yellow scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Emelianenko doesn't seem bothered though.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Andrei Emelianenko will probably get the nod.

Emelianenko closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yellow won't allow Emelianenko to pass to mount.
Yellow is trying to maintain the position but Emelianenko is very close to passing his half guard.

Emelianenko bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Yellow's head.

Yellow connects with a body shot.
Yellow throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Emelianenko misses with the combination.

Yellow throws a right and a left that both miss.
Yellow looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Emelianenko gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Emelianenko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Yellow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Emelianenko was well out of range. Poor timing from Yellow.
Yellow lunges at Emelianenko with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Emelianenko's hand.
Emelianenko avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Yellow lands a left and a right that send Emelianenko crashing to the mat, dazed. Yellow thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Emelianenko is defended easily by Yellow.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Yellow! Emelianenko is out on his feet! Yellow rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Emelianenko is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Emelianenko is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
