Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mariusz Pudzianowki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Axel Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pudzianowki comes to the cage accompanied by Dawaj na Ring. Jacobs has chosen Wake Up - Rage Against the Machine as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jacobs shoots in looking for a takedown. Pudzianowki tries to sprawl out of it but Jacobs keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pudzianowki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jacobs shoots in but Pudzianowki avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mariusz Pudzianowki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Axel Jacobs.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pudzianowki.
Jacobs fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pudzianowki avoids it really well and circles away.
Pudzianowki fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pudzianowki lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pudzianowki.

It looks like Axel Jacobs has been cut.
Jacobs dives in and grabs Pudzianowki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pudzianowki pushes down on Jacobs's head and hops out.
Pudzianowki throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jacobs stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Pudzianowki gets a clinch.
Jacobs is working for takedown but Pudzianowki is calmly controlling the position for now.
Jacobs is trying to drag Pudzianowki to the mat but Pudzianowki just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jacobs takes a knee right on the jaw!
Pudzianowki prevents Jacobs from breaking the clinch.

Pudzianowki goes for a takedown attempt but Jacobs pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Pudzianowki tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jacobs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pudzianowki somewhat.

Jacobs tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Pudzianowki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Jacobs fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Pudzianowki is breathing heavily.
Pudzianowki tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Pudzianowki tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Pudzianowki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jacobs on the ground.
Jacobs controls the position from side control.
Pudzianowki tries to improve position but can't.

Jacobs lands an elbow.

Jacobs is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pudzianowki knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jacobs working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Jacobs has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Pudzianowki is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Jacobs yanks on the arm and Pudzianowki is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Jacobs.
