Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Micky Mcgarry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wes Stoker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stoker has chosen Things That Rhyme With Orange as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Wes Stoker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wes Stoker!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcgarry gets a double leg takedown into Stoker's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Mcgarry is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Mcgarry might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Stoker looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Mcgarry drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mcgarry jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mcgarry postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stoker is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mcgarry, into his guard.

Mcgarry escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stoker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Mcgarry had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stoker defends it easily.
Stoker looking to sit in guard and control but Mcgarry gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mcgarry is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Stoker is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Stoker has escaped and now he's on top!
Stoker wants to stand but Mcgarry has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Mcgarry is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Mcgarry keeping moving, preventing Stoker from controlling successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stoker slips nicely into half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Mcgarry manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Stoker looking to sit in guard and control but Mcgarry gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Mcgarry drops back looking for a leg! Stoker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stoker manages to kick Mcgarry off! Mcgarry jumps back into Stoker's guard.

Mcgarry has gone for a leg lock! Stoker slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mcgarry's guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Mcgarry is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Stoker has his hands clasped together but Mcgarry extends an breaks Stoker's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Mcgarry.

Micky Mcgarry was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
