Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cardio Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maciej Zegan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machine comes to the cage accompanied by Skrillex - Bangarang . Maciej Zegan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zegan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zegan wants it to stay on the feet.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cardio Machine. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Machine will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Zegan leaves Machine with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Zegan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Machine is looking to take this one to the mat.
Machine is trying to drag Zegan to the mat but Zegan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Machine is breathing heavily.
Zegan avoiding damage.
Zegan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Machine dives in and grabs Zegan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zegan pushes down on Machine's head and hops out.
Zegan tries to close the distance and clinch but Machine swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Zegan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Zegan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Machine doesn't seem bothered though.

Zegan connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Machine misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Zegan jabs at Machine's body.
Zegan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Machine, pushing him back against the cage.
Machine is looking for a takedown.
Zegan landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Zegan connects with a nasty looking knee right to Machine's face.
Machine takes an elbow to the temple.
The referee calls for Zegan to work.
Machine goes for a takedown attempt but Zegan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Machine doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Zegan comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Machine stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Zegan is on him like rabid pit bull! Machine slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Maciej Zegan!
