Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Salvador Cannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Sykloni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sykloni has chosen David Arkenstone - Carrickfergus as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sykloni slips a straight right by Cannon.
Sykloni fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cannon avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Cannon shoots in for a takedown but Sykloni shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sykloni tries a head kick but it misses.
Cannon misses with a hook. Sykloni ducked under it nicely.
Sykloni tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Cannon lands a nice shot to the body.

Sykloni throws a sloppy head kick and Cannon moves out of range easily.

Cannon takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cannon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cannon showed some decent athleticism there.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Cannon thows a huge punch but Sykloni dodges it nicely.

Cannon is trying to control the action in half guard but Sykloni is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Cannon is really struggling to control Sykloni but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Cannon is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sykloni is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Cannon is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sykloni can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

It looks like Sami Sykloni has been cut.

Sykloni wants to control but Cannon is having none of it.
Sykloni holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Cannon tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Cannon lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Cannon lands a big shot to the head and Sykloni winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
