The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klajn closes the distance and clinches up with Malkin, looking for a takedown. Klajn pushes Malkin against the cage but Malkin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
An inside leg kick lands from Malkin.
Klajn looks for a takedown but Malkin sprawls well.
Malkin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Remigiusz Klajn has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Malkin. Klajn does a little dance to reset his feet.
Malkin plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Klajn crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Malkin - the referee stops the clock and Klajn gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Malkin. Klajn manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Klajn takes a kick to the side of the head.
Malkin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Klajn has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Klajn has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Malkin.
