PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hunter Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gotard Krasnodebski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rollins comes into the arena with Future World Music - Dream Catchers blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Krasnodebski.
Rollins throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

It looks like Gotard Krasnodebski has been cut.
Rollins on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Krasnodebski's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rollins under the eye.
A nice inside leg kick there by Krasnodebski. That's going to slow Rollins down.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd cheers as Krasnodebski lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rollins doesn't seem phased though.
Rollins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Krasnodebski manages to avoid it.

The fighters circling - Rollins throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rollins walks into a stiff left hand from Krasnodebski.
Good leg kick by Krasnodebski there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Krasnodebski swings for the body but Rollins moves out of range.
Krasnodebski walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Rollins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Krasnodebski.
Krasnodebski throws a head kick that Rollins semi-blocks.

Krasnodebski looking to score a takedown here. Rollins is defending well but Krasnodebski drives through and ends up in Rollins's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rollins is trying to control the position but Krasnodebski postures up.
Krasnodebski wants to pass the guard but Rollins is keeping the position.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

and Krasnodebski makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Krasnodebski is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Gotard Krasnodebski hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Krasnodebski misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rollins cracks Krasnodebski with an open hand slap.
Krasnodebski gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

That has opened up Gotard Krasnodebski's cut even more.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Krasnodebski shoots in for a takedown but Rollins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rollins cracks Krasnodebski with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Oooooh!!! Rollins has knocked Krasnodebski down with a huge combo! Rollins steps away and waves a wobbly Krasnodebski back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rollins steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Krasnodebski is out on his feet! Rollins sets himself and nearly takes Krasnodebski's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
