The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall lands a right hook to the body.
Hall throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Quid counters with an inside leg kick.
Hall misses with a hook.
Quid throws a shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Quid. Hall does a little dance to reset his feet.
Quid is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hall.
Hall uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Quid.
Hall ducks under a wild hook from Quid.
Quid keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hall is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Quid doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hall.

Hall throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Quid tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hall is in Quid's guard.
Quid has control of Hall's left arm, preventing Hall from doing any damage.

Hallis looking to pass into half guard but Quid pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Quid is in guard.

Don Hall overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Quid bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hall's head backwards.

Hall shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Quid as he jumps to the side.

Quid cracks Hall with a hook to the temple - Hall is on wobbly legs here! Quid swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Hall falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Quid wins by TKO!

Johnny Quid really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Rōnin logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
