The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitchell misses with a wild body shot.

Bortman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mitchell.

Mitchell throws a jab but it's blocked by Bortman.

It looks like Logan Mitchell has been cut.
Bortman lands with a thumping leg kick.
Mitchell will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mitchell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mitchell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mitchell throws a series of punches but Bortman moves out of range.
Bortman throws a head kick that misses.
Bortman digs a good body shot into Mitchell's ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mitchell throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mitchell misses with a hook. Bortman ducked under it nicely.
Alex Bortman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bortman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bortman darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Mitchell looks to score with a jab to the body but Bortman is just out of range.

Bortman throws a half hearted mid kick.

Nice uppercut there from Bortman.

A looping hook to the body misses from Mitchell. Bortman does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mitchell tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Bortman lands a big uppercut and Mitchell crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mitchell looks OK. Bortman waves Mitchell back to his feet!

Mitchell is rocked!

Mitchell seems to have recovered his senses.
