Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cajun Xander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Cartman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartman has chosen Santana Ft Everlast - Put Your Lights On as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eric Cartman!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartman swings and misses with a shot to the body
letting Xander counter with a right hand.
Xander throws a head kick but Cartman moves out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Cartman darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Xander lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Xander lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Cartman pivots, looking for a leg kick but Xander is out of range and Cartman settles back down.
Xander doesn't manage to clinch there - Cartman circles away.
A bone on bone clash there as Cartman blocks the leg kick.
Xander looks for the body kick but Cartman saw that one coming.
Cartman ducks under a wild hook from Xander.
Xander throws a body punch but Cartman moves out of range.
Xander darts in trying to clinch
and Xander takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Cartman is trying to trip Xander. He has hold of a leg but Xander is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Cartman persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Xander tries to lock up and control but Cartman gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Eric Cartman is the new middleweight champion!
Eric Cartman was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
