Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Davy Crockett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chico Grande (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Grande's choice of entrance music: Maestre - Calles De Medellín . Davy Crockett had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Chico Grande has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grande misses with a few strikes there.
Crockett ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Grande has closed the distance and engaged Crockett in a clinch.
Grande blocks the elbow strike.
Crockett looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Crockett throws an elbow but it misses.
Crockett pushes off an throws an elbow but Grande leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Grande tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Grande blocks an elbow strike from Crockett.
Crockett lands an elbow inside that Grande shrugs off.
Grande tries to work over Crockett's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Crockett throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Grande is looking to control Crockett's arms but Crockett gets an underhook and turns him. Now Grande has his back to the cage.

Crockett creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Grande is trying to drag Crockett to the mat but Crockett just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Crockett gets through Grande's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Grande creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Crockett's defenses.

Grande lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Crockett throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Crockett missing with a left hand there. Grande was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Grande throws a low kick but Crockett avoids it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crockett cracks Grande with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Grande lands a big head kick that sends Crockett tumbling to the mat! Grande takes a step backwards and waves Crockett back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Grande misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Oh Crockett is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chico Grande seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grande on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Crockett takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Grande shoots and scores a devastating slam takedown! Crockett is unconscious as Grande celebrates over his stricken foe!

Chico Grande was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
