The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De V moves in looking to clinch but Adams pushes him off.

De V scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Adams to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

De V clips Adams with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Adams a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.

De V cracks Adams with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Adams is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Adams is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Adams could not beat the count!
